Tim and Claire's Remodel Project

The long awaited kitchen remodel has begun!! It has grown from a mere kitchen remodel to a remodel of the entire first floor!! The selection of the contractor is FINALLY done and demolition will begin on March 26, 2013.

The first step is to clear out the first floor of stuff! This means we are now the proud renters of a storage facility! It appears that people have way to much stuff since finding a vacant facility was not an easy task! Hopefully ours will not show up on Storage Wars! It might be embarrassing when no one would bid on our measly stash of belongings! Furniture will go to storage and the other stuff is being boxed up and moved to the guest room. Sorry Court and Eric, your room is "occupied" for the next 8 weeks or so!

So far we have agreed on most decisions. We may make it to our 35th anniversary after all! We have decided on woodwork, interior doors, flooring, cabinets, counter top, sink and faucet! There was a little change in the cabinet hardware, but Tim gave in on that! Plus it goes better with the Mocha sink and bronze faucet!
