Sneak Peak!

We have been shopping and have picked out a few items for the kitchen!  Here are some pictures of what we have decided on so far!

The sink is e-granite and the color is Mocha.  It will be mounted under the counter top.  

The faucet is bronze with a pull out sprayer.  The cabinet pulls are also bronze, so will go nicely with the faucet.  

We thought we were going with quartz, but after much discussion with the kitchen designer we decided on granite.  I think this will look great with the mocha sink!

Below are the drawings for the kitchen layout, they are a little small, but hopefully you can get the general idea.  These show a gas range, but we will have electric, and we have double hung windows rather than the one depicted in the drawing.

This is an overhead view of the kitchen.

View is looking toward the sink.  The family room is beyond the sink.

Looking at the north wall of the kitchen.  There existing window (which will be removed) is located approximately where the stove is located.

Looking toward the current dining room.  The peninsula will have a bank of three drawers.

Looking from the current dining room into the kitchen.  The peninsula has one cabinet (next to the wall)  facing the eating area.  Thinking this will be a good place to store the seldom used china!

This is the south wall (backs up to living room).  I think this pantry cabinet will hold everything in the current pantry and then some!

We have also picked out tile, but still have to decide on the wood floor for the family room and living room.
